Yip yow!
My first blog, how exciting!
Can you believe it?? me?! with a blog?!
I figured that writting this would be an easier way to keep everyone posted on my adventures and journeys and that if I start getting into a habit of writting in it now, that when I throw myself to the wind and land wherever I land, that I will be used to this handy little tool and more apt to use it.
First things first: This is my blog. I realise that I am not a very good speller and when I think of it, ill spell check this puppy but if I dont. . . Yes im sure i've spelt things incorrectly and didn't use grammar entirely properly but gimmie a break. Sorry in advance to anyone who has or will read this blog who are sticklers for the formentioned, as it may not be entirely correct.
It will likely be riddled with slang, french and some other little timbits that should just be read and enjoyed, not over thought.
BUT if you're still with me after all of that then thank you thank you thank you for loving me and my quirks.
So here it is first blog entry!
Sitting in my parents house going threw boxes and boxes of memories, pictures, letters, trinkets - everything.
I think its very fitting to be purging so many things that at once I held dear and now dont, especially now that I am officialy on the verge of a new adventure!!! (* Que super hero-esque theme music )
Its interesting the things that you hang on to, thinking " Boy, one day im gonna look back at this and laugh" or " jeeeez this is one to show my kids one day!" and all of a sudden it turns into " . . . huh? . . .what is this?? . . . mmm. . .garbage."
Its kind of nice, realising what is important and keeping it and seeing what never really was and ditching it. refreshing says I.
Well t'is official - Im going to Australia! I currently have my plane ticket, my passport, my visa and an itch for adventure.
